PGS Lecturer Who Inspire and Lead
In Thai culture, faculty members are respectfully addressed as “Ajarn”, a term derived from Sanskrit meaning “teacher” or “one who imparts knowledge.” This reflects the high regard given to educators in Thai society.
At the same time, it is also a cultural norm in Thailand to address people by their first names, rather than by their last names in everyday interaction. At PGS, this is reflected in an open and approachable academic environment where students often address lecturers by their first names, or combine “Ajarn” with nicknames, maintaining both respect and familiarity.
This balance creates a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere, where lecturers are not only educators but also mentors who inspire, guide, and lead students throughout their academic journey. Accordingly, the names of the following individuals are arranged in alphabetical order by their first names, in line with this cultural practice.
