Meet Ajarn Prakorn Siriprakob (Pop), one of the key academic leaders at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, whose work strengthens the fields of public administration and governance.

Ajarn Pop teaches in the area of public administration, focusing on governance, public-sector management, and institutional development. He brings a broad and practice-oriented perspective to the classroom, helping students understand how public organizations function, how leadership shapes institutions, and how the public sector responds to changing societal needs. He earned his B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology (Honors) from Chulalongkorn University, followed by an M.P.A. and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Arizona State University, forming a strong academic foundation in governance and public-sector leadership.

Beyond teaching, Ajarn Pop has taken on important academic leadership responsibilities within the Faculty of Political Science. He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, where he contributes to academic planning, institutional development, and the overall direction of the faculty.

With Ajarn Pop, students do not only learn about public administration as a technical subject. They gain a deeper understanding of public institutions, leadership, and the role of governance in society.
